The Phillies will be without SP Sixto Sanchez for the year wtih a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament He was 3-0 with a 3.05 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 62 innings.

Former Marlin Mitchell White tossed a 3-hut shutout in a 5-0 win over the White Sox.
We're back to half a game out behind Atlanta, and New York, our next opponent, is half a game past us. We'd see Chris Sale (6-2, 3.17 ERA), Noah Syndergaard (3-6, 2.94 ERA), and Luis Marrero (3-3, 4.26 ERA).
June 10th, 2025: We opened the series back home with Mike Soroka (3-6, 3.33 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) taking on Chris Sale (6-2, 3.17 ERA, 0.83 WHIP). It took 10 innings, but the Mets edges us 3-2.

June 12th, 2025: I recalled RHP Cliff Merritt from AAA to replace Cecconi.
Walker Buehler (3-0, 1.77 ERA, 0.82 WHIP) took on Noah Syndergaard (3-6, 2.94 ERA, 1.03 WHIP) as we looked to even the series back up. The ptiching was great, and we came away 7-1 winners.

June 12th, 2025: All star update: Dillard 1st for catchers, Moniak 3rd for CF, Ohtani 1st for RF, and Quivers 4th for RP. I don't know how Buehler isn't top 5. He's popular nationally and very popular locally, and is 4-0 with a 1.75 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 11 starts.
We looked to take the finale with Jake Florence (3-5, 5.68 ERA, 1.53 WHIP) facing Luis Marrero (3-3, 4.26 ERA, 1.31 WHIP). The Mets got 5 in the first, but we held them off 8-6 to win the series.

Ben Popkin had another rough outing, 3 runs in 0.1 innings with a strikeout. His ERA is up to 7.50 and I need to replace him soon, although I can't option the talented 25-year-old. Jorge Moya got the last out, recoring his 14th save.
Vlad Jr. was 2-for-2 with 3 runs, 4 RBI's, two homers, and 3 walks. Mickey Moniak was 2-for-5 with a double and run scored. Thomas Dillard was 1-for-3 with a run, double, and 2 walks.
We have tomorrow off, but I first optioned Luis Ardon to AAA and recalled Patrick Raby to make sure I don't forget. We're 1.5 games out of first, but had a 1.5 game lead on the Mets.
