GM's OFFICE
I am going to 10 Day DL Balderas and then get him 20 days of rehab in AAA allowing him to start and get some innings. He's throwing well but with no options, this opens the door to get him into a rotation and stretch it out. I'll recall Jake Grab off his rehab to fill the bullpen opening.
- 6/6: FLA 7 MIL 5 POTG DJ Adams 2-5 2B (4) HR (7) 2 RBI (17) Pollock W (8-2 3.67) 5 IP 8 H 5 ER Galindo SV (12)
- 2nd round HS pitcher Bobby Hill signed today and will report to Rio Rancho. At 6'7” we are going to get him started out of the bullpen to fix and tweak the mechanics. The most complicated aspect of grooming a young BIG pitcher is eliminating all the extra 'stuff' they do in their delivery.
- AL POTW- Eric Barrios (MIL) 14-29 HR 11 RBI (.286-11-52)
