The middle game took place between Miles Mikolas (10-6, 3.22 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) and the screwball artist Brent Honeywell (9-4, 3.32 ERA, 1.18 WHIP). We tried coming back in the 9th, but the Rays evened the series with a 6-5 win.

September 1st, 2019: Yankees C Gary Sanchez is out for the rest of the year with a herniated disc. While the Yankees are almost a lock for the playoffs, this will hurt them in the postseason. He was hitting .262 with 24 homers and 60 RBI's.

September 4th, 2019: We looked to avoid the embarassing home sweep against an awful team with Shelby Miller (10-7, 3.68 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) taking on Gregory Soto (5-10, 5.25 ERA, 1.50 WHIP).
