Chris Linn (the troubled child I mentioned earlier) went 5-5 and is now hitting .328-13-38. I keep talking to various GM's and there is a ton of desire but I can't get comfortable with any deals yet. I think I'm also going to ensure he ends up in the NL.
Tyshawn Ogarro leads all AL Vote getters. Chase, Hallamore, Turner lead at 3B, SS and RP respectively.
Funicello, Cortezo, and Bursey are all in the mix.
Former Tarpon Mike Haupt leads all NL Vote getters.

GM'S OFFICE
Toying with the idea of trying to pare down payroll without losing talent. I was speaking with some folks in Oklahoma about some minor league matches we may have when the discussion switched to Ismael Saldana. That grew to 2nd place finisher in the NL MVP voting last year left fielder Dave Grohs. In case you don't remember Grohs hit .370/.447/.645 with 46 HRs and 138 RBI's. The deal then reigned in Juan Flores and their 2nd round pick (46th overall). In the end, I could not pull the trigger. Grohs is an FA at years end and both Saldana and Flores are locked in. However, I know that's a potential route now should I choose to go that way. I have McMullen in AAA who is going to be a stud. I have Elizondo in left as the RHH hitter in that platoon. The biggest issue is our scout's rate Grohs and Saldana as very similar players. The one big difference is Grohs hits lefties far better than Saldana (both are LHH).
