February 28th, 2027: Spring Training starts today, and I called up a bunch of non-roster invitees.

March 1st, 2027: March started with a pair of trades. The Dodgers sent RF/P Shoehi Ohtnai to the Reds for 3B Matt Duffy and RHP Joe Symons. It's an even enough deal.

The Red Sox acquired SS Nick Gordon from the Giants for C Will D. Smith, SS Gene Faller, and almost $8 million in cash. I really life this dedal for the Giants.

March 4th, 2027: The always injured Mike Clevinger will miss all of 2027 with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He signed with Arizona in the offseason.

March 9th, 2027: The Blue Jays signed former Marlin 3B Jose Ramirez to a 1-year, $7.2 million contract. He spent the last season with Boston, hitting .264 with 12 homers and 34 RBI's.

March 11th, 2027: The Red Sox will be without SP D.J. Jefferson for the year with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The former 51st Overall Pick has been a Red Sock his whole career, with a 20-34 record and 4.55 ERA.

The Braves signed CL Drew Smith to a 2-year, $2,760,000 per year extension. He's making $6.3 million this season, and Atlanta acquired him from the Mets in December. A Met his whole career, he had 41 saves with a 3.51 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 496 strikeouts in 469 innings.

March 15th, 2027: The Padres will be without 2B Xavier Edwards for the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He's lead the league in steals for four consecutive seasons, and has 286 in his career. Hopefully for him, this won't hurt him too much for stealingn bases.

The Mets signed 1B Billy Davis to a 1-year, $3,640,000 contract. Somehow he was a free agent that no one noticed, and is rated a 3.5/4, but has just 25 at bats in the big leagues.

March 29th, 2027: Rays LHP Andrew Chafin is out for the year with a stretched elbow ligament. This would've been his first year with the Rays.

The Dodgers lost RHP Jason Bilous for the year with a torn elbow ligament. He tossed 7.2 innings with the Dodgers last year, but spent the previous two seasons with Arizona.

April 1st, 2027: With no more Spring Training games, I used today to set up my active roster.
