May 31st, 2027: Orioles righty Tyrese Sinkfield is out for the year with a torn labrum. The former 2nd overall pick in 2021 is likely a starter, but htye were using him as a closer, where he tallied 12 saves and 34 strikeouts in 26 innings with a 3.12 ERA.

We dropped a spot to 5th in the Power Rakings, and are currently 31-19 and 3 games out of first.

We opened the first of two in Tampa with Luis Ardon (3-1, 2.79 ERA, 1.24 WHIP) facing Jacob Faria (4-3, 3.29 ERA, 1.12 WHIP). Ardon pitched great, and we topped the struggling defending champions 4-1.

Ardon tossed 8 innings with just 4 hits, a run, and a walk to go with 3 strikeotus. Alpha Quivers pitched the 9th, earning the save with a hit and strikeout.

Isaac Nunez was 2-for-3 with a solo homer, walk, and 2 RBI's. Daylen Lile was 1-for-3 with a walk, 2 runs, and 2 steals. Juan Ramirez was 1-for-4 with a double, steal, and RBI. Chris Reid was 1-for-4 with a double and run scored.

Phillies CF Ernesto Arambula increased his hit streak to 20 games.

June 1st, 2027: Down in AAA, RF Palban Gamboa was named Batter of the Month. He hit .358 with 9 homers and 30 RBI's.

In Greensboro, 3B Juan Sagarra was named South Atlantic Batter of the Month. He hit .330 with a homer and 19 RBI's. His teammate RHP Jamie Casaday was Pitcher of the Month, going 5-1 with a 2.04 ERA in 35.1 innings with 41 strikeouts.

Arizona extended LHP Jared Miller 2-years at $4,640,000 per year. He's spent his whole career in Arizona, and didn't want to hit the open market. This year, he's allowed just 1 run in 22.2 innings (0.40) with a 0.53 WHIP and 32 strikeouts to just 6 walks.

Two thirds of my outfield left with day-to-day injuries. Daylen Lile sprained his ankle and Jarred Kelenic had back tightness. Both can play through it.

We looked to win the rubber match with Steve Paustian (4-3, 3.88 ERA, 1.38 WHIP) taking on Chandler Ferguson (0-0, 2.95 ERA, 1.59 WHIP) who's making just his 3rd start (he's made 14 relief appearences). It was an all-around good performance, and we won the finale 5-2.
