It isn't anything I did playing with 19, because if I import the file from 18, it still crashes on load.
The newer 19 patches don't like the save. It has a lot of customization, including a custom nation; and it probably doesn't agree with the newer 19 patches for some reason. But the early 19 had their own (lesser) bugs I'm guessing you've fixed...but I'm not excited about playing on an old version when you've improved it in the other ways. By August I'm used to having a very smooth OOTP version with the year's upgrades. I'm disappointed this year.
