And the Brewers come so close to sweeping a four-game set with Portland, leading 6-5 going into the bottom of the 8th in the final game. The Portland offense is formidable though, and they managed to score 2 runs in the 8th and held on for a 7-6 victory to regain sole possession of first place and drop the Brewers back down to third place in the MGL.
Still, a very nice week for the Brewers.
