October 19th, 2029: Can the Mariners sweep through the playoffs? The Cubs will host them and try to prevent that, but the Marienrs are more then well rested. There were no signs of rust, as the visitors took the opener 7-5. Sergio Barreto went 5.1 innings with 6 hits, 2 runs, a walk, and 5 strikeouts to get the win with teammate Daulton Varsho going 1-for-4 with a three run homer and 2 runs scored. Jim Mitchell was 1-for-3 with a two run homer, walk, and 2 runs scored in the loss.

October 20th, 2029: Man these Mariners don't stop! Down 4-3 in the 9th, they managed to tie the game to force extras. THe flood gates opened in the 10th, where they piled on 4 runs to take the second game 8-4 and head home up 2-0. Janisel Rivera was 3-for-4 with 2 hoemrs, 3 RBI's, 3 runs, and a walk. He has 7 homers in just 9 games! Juan Villasenor started for Seattle, tallying 5 innings with 4 hits, 2 runs, a walk, and 6 strikeouts. Cubs LF Kyle Tucker was 3-for-4 with 2 homers, 3 RBI's, and a walk.

October 22nd, 2029: Back home, the Mariners hosted the Cubs up 2-0. Their 9 game streak was stopped with a 7-1 victory. Jorge Flores tossed 5.1 innings with 4 hits, a run, a walk, and 5 strikeouts. Mitchell was 3-for-4 with a double, 2 RBI's, and 2 runs. Eric Larson was all the offense for the M's, 2-for-3 with a walk and solo homer.

October 23rd, 2029: The Cubs looked to even the series today, but Seattle wasn't interested, and they edged the visitors 5-4 to take a 3-1 lead. Rivera continued his power trip, 1-for-2 with a two run homer and 2 walks. Kurt Metzger was 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. Cubs RF Ben Henning was 3-for-4 with a double, triple, and 2 runs scored.

October 24th, 2029: Will baseball end today? The Mariners took a 3-1 lead to the 8th, but Kyle Tucker tied the game with a two run homer. In the 9th, NLCS hero Tyler Freeman hti a go-ahead 2 run homer and the Cubs sent the series back home with a 5-3 win. Tucker was 2-for-4 with the two run homer and Freeman was 1-for-1 with 3 walks and his two run homer. Sergio Barreto had a great start for Seattle, 5 innings with 6 hits, a run, 2 wlaks, and 6 strikeouts.

October 26th, 2029: Back in Chicago, the Cubs looked to force a game 7. The only 7 was a 7 run 7th, as the Mariners took an 8-2 lead. The Cubs didn't fall flat, scoring 4 in the 8ht, but the rally came up short, and the Marienrs won 8-6 to win thier first ever World Series! Janisel Rivera was 1-for-4 with a big grand slam in the 7th that showed the whole world that Seattle was winning it all. Former Marlin Jordy Barley was 3-for-4 with a run scored. The Cubs got a pinch hit grand slam from Sammy Siani in the 8th, but it was just a little too late.

Janisel Rivera was rightfully named series MVP, and former Marlins Juan Villasenor, Brett Conine, Thomas Pannone, Victor Arano, Isan Diaz, and Jordy Barley were given World Series Rings.

Time for a fun offseason!
