Yeah, that option will have to be disabled. Normally, the trades won't actually complete, since the offer can't be finalized and isn't part of the data that's passed back to the commissioner. But it looks like the draft day/trading deadline instant trading is allowing them to be finalized on those days, so that has to be stopped.
Free trading with CPU-controlled GM's would have one big problem: what happens when two human GM's trade for the same player? Even if you give precedence to the team file with the earliest timestamp, that'll still break the roster submitted by the other guy.
