Oh im not going to argue.
There is no point!
They can say what they want.
Yes, Lukas Berger is right.
The team with the best regular season RECORD does not always win the World Series.
The 2001 SEA Mariners come to mind.
However, there is NO team in baseball history that has a roster comparable to the one I put together.
Can you name off the top of your head EVERY player on the roster on the 1927 NY Yankees?
Considered by many as the best baseball team in history?
Not every player on that team is a HOF or an All-Star.
Notice than in NONE of my rants did i say that the SOFTWARE AI was PROGRAMMED to cheat.
I NEVER said that!
Markus would never put that kind of coding into his masterpiece of a game!
But the AI does cheat and that is a fact of the GAME Engine of the AI, not the SIMULATION engine of the AI.
But i did post PROOF of a much inferior team beating a team that they didn't even belong on the field with!
A team with Byron Buxton, an old Joe Mauer, Jorge Polanco, Nick Buss, Tyler Flowers and Jose Berrios, who pitched like Sandy Koufax throughout the entire Postseason
should have beaten a team with Trout, Harper, Posey, Stanton, Judge, Kershaw, Syndergaard, Britton, Chapman, Donaldson, Kluber, Sale and the rest which make up an ALL-STAR team?
NO WAY!!!
My team was not just the team with the best record in baseball, it was the team with the most TALENT!
There is more talent with just 25% of the team i put together than the ENTIRE Twins team that beat me.
We also lost the WS 4-2!
I didn't even get to a Game 7.
The AI just wanted to end my season right then and there in Game 6!
Is it possible that i didn't mange the team well for the World Series?
That is of course a major possibility.
But in my defense, i managed and played out EVERY SINGLE GAME and won 128 games this year.
Don't forget that I almost lost to the ARZ Diamondbacks in the NLDS in five games and i needed extra innings in order for Bryce Harper to win a 1-0 Game 5!
If i had lost that game, i might have lost my mind!
But then again, i probably never had it to begin with!

Does this mean i am no longer going to play OOTP?
Are you kidding me?
I want to be the FIRST to start the Countdown to Release for OOTP20 already!
I am a devoted fan and player of this game and have been for many years.
I give back to the community very frequently as you know with my other things that i post!
By the way Skyballer455, i do thank you and hcorry2001 for believing me in the first place, even though you had to decide differently after hearing from the Big Guys.
That's ok.
But i did make you think hard enough that you actually wanted to let the powers that be know what just happened in my thread.
As far as Im concerned, my report for the year JUST DID ITS JOB!
So where do i go from here?
Well...i still have to give out awards and close the thread for the year.
Since i didn't win the World Series with a team of the best current All-Stars, maybe i have to put together a BETTER team!
Do i hear a 2019 NY METS team with HALL OF FAMERS for next year?
Who knows?
