I hope so. In the game I just finished, which was the last game of August, he did hit a mammoth HR, his 7th of the season, and went 2 for 4. So some signs of life. He also now has 24 stolen bases with just 7 times caught stealing. So not all bad news.

And granted, offense was down this season league wide. Still, compared to other young Brewers players like Rondeau and Erbakan, Souffront's numbers have been quite disappointing. Though Antonio Puente's (he hit HR #10 in this same game) have been even worse in some ways. It feels like he is consistently striking out with runners in scoring position and it drives me crazy!
