Three-way tiebreaker
A weird situation developed in my league with tiebreakers -- three teams (Chicago, Detroit, and Vancouver) tied for the final wild card slot with 87 wins. A playoff game was scheduled between Chicago and Detroit, with Chicago automatically advancing to the playoffs after winning without Vancouver even having an opportunity to play a tiebreaker game.
For what it's worth, Vancouver had the best run differential of the three teams, and it had a winning record head-to-head against both Detroit and Chicago, making it even more bizarre that it would be left out of the tiebreaker playoff game.
The other league also had a three way tie for two slots - that appeared to be handled properly, with two teams playing, and the third team playing against the loser of the first game, with the winners of the two games advancing.
