Can someone tell me what is going on here or how I can stop this? Carlos Martinez is my #1 pitcher. I started the season with my pitching settings at "Strict - On occasion highest rested" and here is how the Game utilized him today.

He was always being trotted out on 2 days rest. He was being pulled on subsequent starts in the second 3rd or 4th innings after 60 pitches regardless of how well he is doing

My strategy sliders are at the default so it should not be them. After the game on the 14th I manually swapped him in pitching order and forced a different starter in order to get him back to 100% rested. I also set my strategy to "Strict Order".

It did not make a difference the game still pitched him on two days rest on the 23rd.

This can seriously screw up my team. He is pitching every third day, tired or not. He is removed from subsequent games early, forcing my bullpen to be overworked. I need to figure out how to stop this behavior.
