September 1st 1913 Update
In the American League, the Yankees fall out of first place and the Cleveland Naps regain the lead. Over in the National League, the Cardinals are still holding on with Cincinnati
and New York close on their heels. Pittsburgh looked to be down and out and are now staging a run (9-1 in the past 10 games).

With the help of Walter Johnson (6-2 in August), Christy Mathewson (5-3 in August) and Pete Alexander (5-1 in August), we were able to pull a 19-7 record during the month.
Walter Johnson was named Pitcher of the Month and Eddie Collins was named Batter of the Month.
