NLCS Game 2 -- Madison 3, St. Louis 2

The Madison Muskies pushed across a pair of runs in the fourth inning to take the lead and never trailed again, as they evened the National League Championship Series at a game apiece with a 3-2 win over the St. Louis River Walkers at Busch Stadium.
Ender Inciarte led off the bottom of the first with a single off Muskies starting pitcher Stephen Gonsalves and later scored on a Michael Conforto sacrifice fly as the Walkers grabbed an early 1-0 lead.
But Madison seized the lead against St. Louis starter Trevor Bauer when it opened the top of the fourth with three consecutive hits.
Chad Pinder got it started with the long ball -- a 375-foot shot into the left field stands -- Brett Gardner and Tyler Flowers followed with back-to-back doubles, extending Madison's lead to 2-1.
Flowers opened the sixth inning with another double, also off Bauer.
He later scored when Gonsalves singled off reliever Chaz Roe.
A Conforto homer off Gonsalves in the bottom of the sixth made it 3-2.
But three relievers -- Justin Wilson (0.2 IP), Drew Steckenrider (1.0) and Corey Knebel (2.0) combined to shutout the Walkers the rest of the way to send the series north to Madison deadlocked.
Gonsalves pitched 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on four hits. He struck out four and walked a pair.
Knebel allowed just one hit while pitching a scoreless eighth and ninth.
