So it turns out that windows defender's "controlled folder access" decided that I was no longer permitted to access to any of "my" folders in "my" \users\documents\… Nor could I remove them from the CFA. The only recourse was to turn CFA off. Re-installed ootp20 and all the files are where they are supposed to be in user. No more error messages.


installer run as user (2 times) and admin (2). It does not create file system in \users\name\documents\out of the park developments\ootp20
I'll try downloading a new install file, after d/l new installer still have the same problem.
receive the following after install ends
ootp20.exe Fatal Application Exit; Could not open targert folder to install game data. Please uninstall and reinstall ootp20
