gotta get that stuff mostly automated, ultimateaverageguy.

spreadsheet or database can help. if time cards aren't digital, either change or start scanning them in as text documents to be used as the inputs of the automation.

you can format the sheet or report in dB to fit a check's dimensions in the printer etc etc.

if it's just bookkeeping, gotta increase those 10-key skills LoL teach your kid to do it. it is just grunt work if entering data, anyway. make him earn that allowance! (guess i am assuming sole-proprietor as opposed to an employee)

any repetitive task eating up your time can be reduced significantly in finance. it's all rules based and that can be automated.

don't even have to buy software for this, but it exists, too. business software is usualyl quite expensive, but if it saves you an hour or 2 every week for the rest of your life, not so much.
