Walkers news:Sept. 9 -- St. Louis 6, Twin Cities 2

Down 2-0, St. Louis scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning and rode six strong innings from Trevor Bauer for a 6-2 win over Twin Cities at Busch Stadium (1997).
Carlos Santana hit a solo homer and Jeremy Martinez had an RBI single for the Snowcats off Bauer in the top of the second, giving Twin Cities a short-lived 2-0 lead.
The River Walkers came out of the box swinging in the bottom of the inning, as Rhy Hoskins and Nicky Delmonico sandwiched doubles around a Michael Conforto triple to tie the score.
Ender Inciarte later connected for a two-out single off Cats starter Joshua James, making it 3-2.
Delmonico hit a solo homer off James in the third, pushing the lead to 4-2.
Hoskins took reliever Bryse Olson deep in the sixth, as the Walkers went up 6-2.
In his six innings, Bauer allowed two runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked four.
Relievers Josh Lindgren, Phil Maton and Manuel Soliman all went an innings apiece to close it out.
