Not sure why you think 344 is a bug. Most likely you performed below expectations for the season (season score max is 1000).
As for the GP mark, due to the way we handle things, that ends up adding together games at multiple positions. So, for example, if ~40-50 times Escobar shifted from 3B to SS in a game, he could have 150 games at 3B and 40 at SS, for 193 "total".
