If it's cosmetic, it's a bummer, but I'm still hopeful that it's some amalgamation of GAP, POW, and CON with just a dash of the EYE thrown in, interacting with whatever pitching ratings allow a pitch to be hit.

Since it's being tracked, seems like home run distance and exit velocity should be a sortable stat.

Also, why does the game occasionally neglect to give a home run distance, I wonder? It doesn't show up in the PbP from time to time, and if it doesn't show in the PbP, it won't apparently won't show up in the logs either.
