2069 Season (Bush League)

October/November 2069:
Bush League (Indy):
The Nolanville ‘Nauts won their 6th Bush League Championship and their 1st in 19 years by defeating the Quincy Quackers in the Bush Series 4-2. Nolanville were not expected to make the playoffs this season, while Quincy, winners of 95 regular season games, were the odds on favorites to bring the banner home.

2069 BL Playoffs:
Championship: Nolanville defeats Quincy (4-2)
Semi-Finals: Quincy defeats Coney Island (3-1); Nolanville defeats Naperville (3-1)

Bush League Player of the Year: 3B Ogulcan Arslan (Quincy Quackers, 32, 30th overall pick out of Texas A&M by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2053 ($5.3M Signing Bonus)). The 32-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .297 average, picking up 129 hits, 24 doubles, 2 triples, 48 home runs and 104 RBIs, while scoring 87 runs.

Bush League Pitcher of the Year: SP Tony Bobbitt (Naperville Nibblers, 32, 129th overall pick out of Rice by the St. Louis Rams in 2059). The Nibblers star delighted the hometown fans with a fine 2.64 ERA and 163 strikeouts in 170.1 innings. Bobbitt surrendered 138 hits and 34 walks and limited opposing batters to a .218 batting average.
