van der Walt retires as easily one of the top five position players in MLB history and also easily the best RF, surpassing Arnold White and Vladimiro Trejo. His best years came with the Brewers after getting drafted 14th overall out of LSU, but he also moved to the Blue Jays, Astros, White Sox, Royals, and Giants. He won three MVP awards, four gold gloves, 8 silver sluggers, and went to 9 all-star games.

Cravoa was drafted 2nd overall by the Angels in 1918 from the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls and won Rookie of the Year in 1922. That was also the first of his three World Series wins. He won two MVP awards, five silver sluggers, four playoff MVPs, and went to 9 all-star games.
