They erupted for five first-inning runs in game two, but saw the Jets chip away at the margin, leaving the game knotted at 6 heading into the 9th. Bill Terry staved off elimination, slapping a single to score Luis Aparicio in a 7-6 win. Game was three win or else for Ozark. Wheatland provided a heaping portion of "or else" with a dominating 9-run, 15-hit bombardment to end the Bobcats' hopes. A valiant, 4-run effort in the 9th could not avoid the crowning of the idle Aina Haina Parakeets as the Our League S261 champions.
