Gil Coan (Washington Senators). His major leagues debut was on April 27, 1946 and that was the earliest date any of the surviving players played in a MLB game in 1946. With a total of 59 games played in 1946, Gil Coan also appeared in the most games of any living player who played in 1946 MLB games.
