Sam Rice 1915
Edgar Charles "Sam" Rice colorized with the Cleveland Indians. The 1963 inductee into the Hall of Fame finished up his illustrious career with the Tribe in 1934. Rice came up just 13 base hits shy of the 3,000 hit mark.
