Omnibus Park
I guess it says something when I find myself literally dreaming about ballparks, huh? I woke up and did a super-quick sketch, and while this finished park bears little resemblance to that, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Omnibus Park (the name of which was in the dream, I have no idea what it means but there you go) is a retractable roof stadium surrounded on three sides by a giant hotel and casino. There is a large swimming pool and outdoor combination casino & practice golf range beyond the center field wall, and a considerable number of the rooms provide a spectacular view of the field. While many of the rooms in the towers get cut off when the roof is closed, there are also a number of premium suites that provide views regardless of the weather outside.
This ballpark is located in Las Vegas, theoretically on the site currently occupied by the Rio. The outfield shape is based on Las Vegas's iconic welcome sign, and it leads to a park that gives up plenty of doubles and triples but is basically neutral aside from that.
