Oswaldo Flores (12-10, 3.16) @ Cao An (9-9, 4.81)
Oswaldo, the former Phoenix flunky, allows only a single run over 6.2 – he looked good… but, it wasn’t enough for the Sounders as An pitches a 4-hit shutout over 7.1 with Roddy Ossa coming in to complete it (and earn his first postseason save). EJ Wilson gets an RBI for Chicago – off a single – and that’s about it for offense in this one. Seattle’s leadoff man, Justin Burton, posts 3 K’s – didn’t do his job today. Chicago wins 1-0, series now 2-1 in favor of the Sounders.
