Actually, it's the Slaabovian Republic League, remember? Thanks for your advice, EC. I hope to be able to lock down a lot of details for it and other related matters very soon. As for maps and all, I will no doubt need some help, just the same, with them.
I would estimate Slaabovia's total land territory to be about the size of Argentina, more or less, in terms of a possible real-world comparison, if I'm not too mistaken here. But with one main landmass and some smaller islands instead of being part of a single continental landmass like Argentina is, with South America. And also probably at least twice as populated as Argentina is likely to be come 2021. I'm figuring a population for Slaabovia of about 280-some million people in about a million square miles of land, I think, by 2021.
Also, a lot of my writing would probably be best classified as science fiction-type writing, to at least some degree, if not totally. I am trying to establish certain details about this nation, at least, at present, in this story, so that later on, if people need to recall a certain fact later on to better understand it, they can just do searches for certain terms and all, and refresh their memories as needed or desired.
Now if this were in a real country, all this exposition probably wouldn't need to be shown, of course. But seeing as Slaabovia doesn't and has never existed in the real world, I have to establish the milieu that the story's main events will take place in and all, don't you think?
By the way, you are a much better writer of reports than I am, I think. I can better visualize things from your leagues, based on how you have often fleshed things out here. Not to mention the fact that you've lived at least 30 more years than I have to date, so you have a lot more experiences in life than I have, and that many of the rest of us have had, no doubt. That unquestionably helps you with your telling of your stories here.
I find myself thankful that God has blessed you with a real talent for wordsmithing, among other things, my dear friend and brother in Christ, Eugene. Your talent is evident, and you have a kind and gentle heart, for sure. While you may have trouble with computers and making certain graphics, you surely know a great deal about things in this world, I'm sure. And God has blessed you also with wisdom and understanding of many people, as well, I think.
Until later, I'll close this. Shalom, which means peace, by the way, in Hebrew, among other things it means. Oh, before I forget, do you think you can perhaps include clippings related to Israel and other surrounding countries whenever you post to your NIRL-related league's dynasty forum, please, Eugene? I'd really appreciate it, in fact. I love Israel very much, as the Word says we should be in this world of ours and all, just so you know. CD out.
