Walkers news: April 30 -- Cincinnati 3, St. Louis 2

Record: 9-9, 3rd, GB Des Moines
Tied 1-1, Cincinnati strung together four straight two-out hits off St. Louis reliever Bill Warson to pave the way for a pair of sixth-inning runs in en route to a 3-2 win at Busch Stadium (1997).
With the victory, the Skyline took two of three games from the River Walkers.
Warson had taken the mound with one out in the fourth inning after starter Tanner Bibee had to leave with a mild strained hamstring.
Bibee was making a spot start from Memphis, after scheduled starter Alex Faedo was too tired after having to pitch in the previous game.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. got things going in the sixth with a double.
He moved to third when Ronald Acuna Jr. followed with a single.
Francisco Meija plated Guerrero with a single.
Another single, this one from Trea Turner, scored Acuna Jr. and made it 3-1.
St. Louis had a great chance in the eighth inning and did get a run, but missed an opportunity at more.
Bo Bichette and Michael Toglia opened the inning with back-to-back doubles off Skyline reliever Ryan Castellani.
With Bichette having scored on Toglia double, a walk to Rhys Hoskins put runners at first and second with no outs.
But Castellani struck out Jean Carmona and then got Christian Arroyo to hit a line drive double play, Hoskins being caught away from first.
Beau Burrows handled the first five innings for CIncinnati, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out six and walked three.
Four relievers -- Emilio Pagan, Taylor Hearn, Castellaini and Jesus Liranzo closed it out by going an inning apiece.
Liranzo notched his second save.
