Brendan Spagnulo allowed one run on three hits over seven innings to help pitch St. Louis to a 6-2 win over Cleveland at Cleveland Stadium (1980).
Spagnuolo struck out nine and walked two during his time on the mound.
The only run for the Guitar Heroes came on a solo homer from Giancarlo Stanton in the bottom of the third to make it 3-1.
A two-run homer from the red-hot Nicky Delmonico off Cleveland starter James Paxton in the second inning staked St. Louis to a 2-0 lead.
Bo Bichette went deep of Paxton in the third increasing that advantage to 3-0.
Andrelton Simmons made his first hit of the season a big one, with a solo shot off Paxton in the fourth.
Larry Ernesto had an RBI double later in the inning, making it 5-1.
John Curtiss worked a scoreless eighth inning for the Walkers.
Bobby Poyner allowed a solo homer to Brian Dozier in the ninth, but other than that allowed no other damage.
