Walkers news: May 3 -- St. Louis 5, Cleveland 4

Record: 12-9, 2nd, 1 GB Des Moines
Andrew Benintendi connected on a two-run double with two outs in the top of the ninth inning off Cleveland reliever Sean Doolittle to help give St. Louis a 5-4 win at Cleveland Stadium (1980).
With the victory, the River Walkers completed a three-game sweep of the Guitar Heroes.
Doolittle retired the first two batters in the ninth before pinch-hitter Larry Ernesto got things going with a single.
Bo Bichette kept the game going with another single, and both would score when Benintendi connected on his double down the right-field line.
St. Louis starter Aaron Nola cruised through the first five innings throwing a shutout before Cleveland got to him in a big way.
Bryan Reynolds and Jake Bauers both singled before Austin Riley drew a walk to load the bases for Giancarlo Stanton, who smacked a 1-2 pitch 388-feet over the wall in left field to put the Heroes ahead 4-3.
Bichette had hit a two-run homer off Cleveland starter Drake Fellows to put St. Louis ahead 2-0.
Rex Brothers issued a bases-loaded walk to J.T. Realmuto in the sixth, making it 3-0.
Nola worked 5.2 innings and exited after Stanton's slam, allowing four runs on five hits.
Phil Maton got the final out of the sixth, but was unable to return because of an undisclosed injury.
Jake Brentz stepped in and kept Cleveland off the board in the seventh and eighth.
The ninth belonged to Tommy Kahnle, who was perfect to earn his third save.
