Walkers news: June 3 -- Milwaukee 3, St. Louis 2, 13 innings

Pinch-hitter Chase Vallot came through with a bases-loaded RBI single with one out in the top of the 13th inning to lift Milwaukee to a 3-2 win over St. Louis at Busch Stadium (1997).
With Reyes Moronta on the mound for the River Walkers, Kyle Seager opened the inning by reaching on an error by River Walkers second baseman Brock Holt.
He moved to second on a Macrus Wilson sacrifice bunt.
Andrew Kinzner then drew a walk, after which Thad Ward took the mound.
Freddy Galvis greeted Ward with a single, loading the bases.
Vallot followed with another single, as Seager crossed the plate with what proved to be the winning run.
A pair of wild pitches with runners on third by Keg Lifters starter Sean Wymer allowed St. Louis to score a pair of runs in the second.
Milwaukee got its first run in the fifth, a Javier Baez double off Walkers starter Argenis Batista scoring Freddy Galvis.
The Lifters tied it in the sixth, WIlson connecting for his eighth homer of the season off Batista.
Nine pitchers took the mound for the Lifters.
Wymer had the longest tenure, allowing two runs on five hits over four innings.
Trevor Gott followed with a scoreless fifth and sixth.
The win, his second, would go to Cody Deason, after he blanked the Walkers in the 12th.
Francisco Justo handled the 13th for his first save.
