Part 4: Modern history
East Driftwood replied to the early 2000s streak of West Driftwood dominance by winning three titles between 2007 and 2009 and another in 2012. That 2012 win was sandwiched by two streaks as West Driftwood won in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015. East Driftwood went back-to-back in 2016 and 2017 before West Driftwood took the title in 2018 to enter 2019 as the defending champion.
