Jason Skinner (2-0, 0.80 ERA) got the start for East Driftwood as they looked to pull within two wins of the title. West Driftwood sent out Eric Stull (2-2, 1.08 ERA) in the hopes that he could pull out a strong performance.

A triple and a passed ball gave East Driftwood a lead after only four pitches. East Driftwood added a second run before Stull had reached twenty pitches. West Driftwood managed to pull back a run during a strong bottom of the second. The 2-1 score line remained until the top of the sixth when East Driftwood added a third run. An inning later, they added a fourth run as they started to pull ahead. The East Driftwood bullpen, including Ben Castle, held strong to earn the win.
