IPA STARS READY TO SHINE IN ALL-STAR GAME WEDNESDAY
The best Islandian Pro Alliance pitchers against the best Islandian Pro Alliance batters... life is good today in the Islands... life is good today... coming up this Wednesday afternoon at the Midtown Base Ball Grounds in Rolling Hills, it's the 61st IPA All-Star Game... both the Ruthlandian All-Stars and the Tycobbian All-Stars will be shining on the diamond... the competition is totally one-sided with the TU Stars triumphant 41 times in 60 games... Tycobbian has won 10 of the last 11 midsummer classics.
Two Tycobbian teams, the Rolling Hills Racers and the Denton City Redbirds led with the most selections... they each had three players chosen to the elite squad... the oldest player on the TU Stars is outfielder Norishige Ito at age 34... the youngest is first baseman Mark Carmickle, just 21... the eldest participant on the Ruthlandian Stars is pitcher Mark Faber and second sacker Mickey Wilbur, both 34 years old... the youngest is 21-year-old first baseman Dayne Killian... one rookie, Mark Carmickle, made the All-Star squad... he'll be playing for the TU Stars.
