IMHO they should be time limited to a rolling month since the ratings and stats are based on a time limit of 1 month.
If you choose to accept the card, the card should self destruct after 30 days and revert back to LIVE stats for the player...
In essence you have LEASED a good lighting in a bottle player for 30 days...

That's another idea: change their 'live' card to the POTM stats and artwork for 1 month (allow for further increases during the month, but no decreases) then go back to normal after the month is over. Possibly, include POTM stats as permanent 20% of future 'live' card calculations, with POTM emeritus artwork. That way a card could earn POTM more than 1 month and would be a nice reward for those who invest in 'live' cards.
