I hope I don't end up feeling foolish for asking this but what's with the Mets' white on white uniforms? The look like ghosts!
Wait a minute . . . I just saw a preview of the Yankees-Dodgers game and the Yankees are in all white while the Dodgers are in black. What's going on? (I knew I was going to feel foolish.

)
Oh for goodness sake. What silliness:
http://news.sportslogos.net/2019/08/...-this-weekend/ So, who chose the monochrome format this year? How does it dovetail with this:
"Inspired by players’ style choices when they are away from the field, the fashionable monochromatic uniforms allow for each custom accessory design to stand out more than ever before”, the league said in the press release upon their unveiling earlier this month. When players are away from the field, they like to wear white or black?
The only individuality that I can see are the wildly colorful shoes and the odd nicknames on the backs of jerseys - I was just watching "Big Maple" pitch to "Redturn2." Now here's Gio Urshela at the plate, and he has his bat painted in the colors of the Colombian flag. Is that even legal? It sure looks like a distraction for the pitcher to me. MLB is becoming a clown show.
