May 1st 1935 Update
The White Sox jumped out to 8-0 start. Sox star Hal Trosky is batting .387 with 5 HR. On the other side, the Brooklyn Dodgers are sitting atop the NL with the Pirates not far behind.
Dodgers' John stone is leading the way with his .391 BA, meanwhile Pittsburgh is trying to recover from 2 injuries, Johnny Welch (injured in Spring Training and will miss the whole
season) and Red Rolfe (fractured finger). The Senators are missing their, closer, Lew Krausse, he will return in 7 weeks. Babe Ruth might be in his last season, has hit 2 HRs and
is the all time leader with 529.
