The Raccoons are only 2.5 behind Westvleteren and have 2 games against them coming right up so I expect us to be 4.5 back right after those 2 games. Against others, they've not been doing so well lately. I've never seen a team as good as them lose 7 of 10 before (against non-whales), but somehow that's what happened.

Equally odd is that our RDiff is higher than their RDiff (we're 1st in R and they're only 7th) and we have the best Pyt record in the league right now. Maybe they are more beatable than I thought, but we were just unlucky? We'll see. Regardless, with their pitching, I still don't see how we can keep pace with them. But it would be nice to catch them, if only for a day.

p.s. - Well, what do you know. We beat them in the 1st game 2-1. How is it that other teams that can't score as much as we can are scoring much more when they play them? Oh yeah, it's called luck.

p.p.s. - I swear, we just can't hit their pitching. We got only 2 hits off of them this time (and only 5 in the previous game)... But that was enough for another 2-1 victory so now we're only 1/2 back. In both wins we scored both our runs in the 1st inning off their LHP SPs, but couldn't touch their mighty perfect pen.
