The Colonels share a division with another tough team this week. The Orlando Calrissians have a .725 win pct., 3 PL titles, and a nice roster. We will need to be at our best all season to win the division again, and that is a really important goal. That one-and-done game is to be avoided at all costs.
I am still struggling with my outfield alignment. Every set of options has pluses and minuses. I am opening the season with:
vs. RHP: LF Charleston, CF DiMaggio, RF Mantle
vs. LHP: LF Aaron, CF Mays, RF DiMaggio
I bet it doesn't stay that way for more than a day. I wish I could settle on three guys or even four but the platooning advantage is just too strong to ignore.
