Walkers news: April 21 -- Milwaukee 2, St. Louis 1

Record: 9-10, 4th, 3.5 GB Cedar Rapids
Kyle Seager hit a two-run homer off St. Louis starter Aaron Nola in the bottom of the third inning, wiping out a 1-0 lead, and giving Milwaukee a 2-1 lead that would stand the rest of the day in a victory at Milwaukee County Stadium (1976).
With the victory, Milwaukee took two of three games in the weekend series.

The River Walkers went up 1-0 in the top of the third when Larry Ernesto led off with a single off Keg Lifters starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks and later scored on an Edmond Americaan single.
In the bottom of the inning, Alec Bohm reached on a two-out single off Nola.
Seager followed by hitting the first pitch he saw 401 feet into the right-field seats.
Hendricks (2-1) worked five innings, allowing the one run on three hits. He struck out six and walked two.
The right-hander was followed to the mound by five relievers, who kept the game at 2-1.
Cody Deason and Jason Johnson both worked an inning apiece.
Scott Alexander walked the only batter he faced, but Josiah Gray got out of the eighth without allowing a run.
Antonio Santillian pitched around a walk in the ninth for his fourth save.
