Tied 1-1, Chicago scored three times in the top of the sixth inning to send it to a 5-1 win over St. Louis at Busch Stadium (1997).
Jarred Kelenic plated the first run with a double off River Walkers starting pitcher Alex Faedo.
The next batter, Cruz Calderon, did even more damage with a two-run homer to make it 4-1.
The G-Men added an insurance run in the seventh.
Brandon Nimmo was hit by a Kenley Jansen pitch to leadoff the inning.
Nimmo scored when Victor Caratini doubled with two outs off Nick Lodolo.
Shoehei Ohtani (2-3) earned the win for Chicago, going 5.1 innings allowing one run on six hits.
Trevor Hildenberger finished off the sixth inning.
Danny Barnes struck out the side in the seventh.
James Pazos allowed a hit to open the eighth.
He was relieved by Chris Rodriguez who silenced the Walkers the first of the way to seal the win.
