Andrew Bethea drove the second pitch he saw from St. Louis reliever Edwin Diaz 443 feet over the fence in right-cener field to give Quad City a 4-2 win at Fenway Park (1970).
Duke Kinamon had opened the bottom of the 10th with a single off reliever Kenley Jansen.
Bethea followed with his big drive, his first homer of the season.
Both teams had scored single runs in the second and third innings, and it remained tied until the 10th.
Thunder starting pitcher Evan Steele allowed two runs on three hits over four innings.
Chad Kuhl worked two shutout innings before Brenan Hanifee, Justus Sheffield and Nick Goody all worked a quiet inning apice.
Goody improved to 3-0 by earning the win.
