Romy Gonzalez singled with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to scored Bo Bichette with game-winning run, as St. Louis downed Madison 5-4 at Busch Stadium (1997).
Bichette had opened the inning with a lead-off single off Hill and moved to second when Larry Ernesto followed with another single.
Jared Thomas then reached on an error by Hill to load the bases.
Michael Toglia struck out, for the first out.
But Gonzalez lofted a single to right which managed to avoid right fielder Nomar Mazara and bring home Bichette.
Tied 1-1, both teams scored three times in the ninth inning to keep the game going.
Mazara drove in two of the runs for the Muskies with a home run off River Walkers closer Edwin Diaz.
Francisco Lindor scored the third run after he singled and scored on a Josh Smith single, a play which included an error by Toglia in left field.
St. Louis tied it against Hill in the bottom half of the inning.

Walkers starter Argenis Batista turned in an impressive seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits.
Brad Hand recorded the first two outs of the eighth, before leaving the game with an undisclosed injury.
Diaz worked the ninth and got the first out of the 10th.
Phil Maton (2-0) recorded outs on both the batters he faced in the 10th, setting himself up to earn the victory.
