Walkers news: May 29 -- St. Louis 6, Milwaukee 5

Record: 23-30, 5th, 6.5 GB Springfield
St. Louis scored six runs between the second through fourth innings and held on for a 6-5 win over Milwaukee at County Stadium (1976).
With the win, the River Walkers took the final two games of a three-game series against the Keg Lifters.
Jared Thomas put St. Louis up 1-0 with a solo homer off Lifters starter Brendan McKay in the second inning.
That advantage grew to 4-0 an inning later, Andrew Benintendi with a three-run blast off McKay.
Milwaukee started to climb back into it with two runs in the bottom of the third.
McKay with an RBI double off Walkers starter Steven Brault and later scoring on a Xander Bogaerts single.
St. Louis got its final two runs in the fourth, Alek Thomas with a two-run homer off McKay.
The Lifters roared back with three runs in the fifth.
Kyle Seager drove in two of them with a homer which ended Brault's outing.
But the St. Louis bullpen shutout Milwaukee from there.
Brault worked 4.2 innings, giving up five runs on eight hits.
John Curtiss finished the fifth inning and worked a scoreless sixth.
Phil Maton and Jake Brentz tossed scoreless seventh and eighth innings, respectively.
Nick Lodolo got the first out of the ninth.
Kenley Jansen handled the final two for his second save.
