If you look at any Free Agent and basically don't offer them the contract they want within a few thousand dollars, you are taking a chance they will not speak to you anymore. Particularly if you back out of the negotiating/offer window. You do need to make sure you have lots of money to spend especially when 5 star players are free agents. But it would be nice if you could get an idea of what a player is basically asking before committing yourself to the offer screen. Something that needs to be fixed.
