Jonathon Holder took care of the first six innings and trio of relievers handled the rest, as Cincinnati shut out St. Louis 4-0 at Riverfront Stadium (1970).
St. Louis has now gone 20 innings without scoring.
Holder (6-4) scattered four hits during his time on the mound. He struck out seven and walked none.
Jesus Liranzo (1.2), Reyes Moronta (0.1) and Frankie Montas (1.0) didn't allow the River Walkers a baserunner over the final three innings.
The Skyline got the only run it would need in the bottom of the fourth against Walkers starter Aaron Nola (0-6).
Ronald Acuna Jr. led off the inning with a single, stole second and third on consecutive pitches and scored on a two-out wild pitch to Holder.
Francisco Mejia homered off Nolain the sixth, upping the lead to 2-0.
In the seventh, Travis Swaggerty and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led off the inning with a single and double, respectively, off Nola.
Freddie Freeman and Acuna Jr. earned RBIs with sacrifice flies off reliever Nick Lodolo.
