I am starting a Red Sox dynasty in 1939 to see what kind of career Ted Williams could have without military service interrupting his career. I am the Red Sox GM and we are using modern rules with free agency and the draft. The first issue came up right away with the contracts of Joe Cronin and Jimmie Foxx who are both free agents after the 1939 season.
