June 1st 1941 Update
The month of May started off as the Ted Williams and New York Giants show. Giants won 10 more in a row and it looked as if Ted Williams would be blasting the ball over the pace.
But the last two weeks have proven that what goes up must come down. Al Triple Crown winner last year Athletics' Johnny Mize is hitting .400 to keep Williams company.
